The mark of the times is nebulous-ness.
Neptune is involved. Throughly. And that’s an energy you can never fully understand. Cuz it’s not from here. It’s from somewhere…else…
Just when you think you know what’s up, or “get” it - when you start doubling down, commanding, “Damn it, Susan! I know! I know!! ” the fog rolls in.
Maybe it’s some new info which, if true, could disprove your entire theory. Maybe it’s discovering the long lost installation guide for that furniture you put together last year, proving you DO need some form of instruction in life.
Imagine if everything you thought you knew was proven wrong, in a deeply painful, traumatic fashion - public shaming style. The ultimate clap back to all those arrogant posts you sent out in 2020.
Yeesh - that’s some ego suffering right there.
But the fog isn’t just here to inspire you to feel humiliated - though I’m betting there’s some entities out there that would absolutely adore it if you went all in on that - the misty unknown is here to offer a service: provide us all with proof of human ignorance. Including yours.
See, there’s much about being human that restricts our understanding of what exists beyond what we can see and name with finality.
Being human limits our capacity to understand what is True.
Everything is dense here. It’s like our radar systems are distorted - our inner satellites are getting fucked with and blocked off all the time. Almost like someone’s doing it on purpose…But that’s just nuts, right? Maybe, maybe not.
Neptunian fog will teach you through its ungrounding, unknowing, reaching-into-the-mist energy, all the ways you really don’t know a lot of things for sure.
Even if you really enjoy asserting what you think you know, if your sense of self is attached to being “in the know”, Neptune will do one hell of a TKO in the first round on you.
Neptune wants you to let go of what you thought you knew, so you can merge into a more expansive understanding of the life experience. And then some.
Some of the things you thought were just fine and normal - “just the way things are” - might be proven to be wrong or potentially untrue. Not in a clean cut way. In a messy, nebulous, dark night of the soul process of realizing that what was normalized was Illusory. Unhealthy.
And that’s tricky. ‘Cause your sense of identity has been attached to the stories you’ve been told - and regurgitated - about what it is to be human.
It’s like that faux fog they used to blast at sock hops in the 90s. It was harmless! It was fun! Every dance had them! “Relax, Donna! What’s the big deal?”
But, like, was it totally harmless? Was it really A OK to gulp it down while we moshed to Nirvana and grabbed each other’s butts during November Rain?
I don’t know. How do we know for sure? I mean, there’s a reason a smattering of us went to the vending machine for skittles when it permeated the air. (I sense a Gemini typing “fog machine 90s school dances” into a search engine. Please email me your findings.)
Now that the 90s kids have something to feel melancholy about - We don’t know much of anything for sure these days! And it’s easy to ride the wave of martyrdom, exclaiming, “nothing makes sense!” “what does it all mean?!” or “we are all fucked!”
But then you’d be embodying the dark aspects of Pisces, which is directly linked to Neptune, the planetary energy getting expanded right now.
See, the shadow of Neptune/Pisces is martyrdom. Digging a hole, throwing yourself into it to avoid something you don’t want to face - the work you might need to do to understand an experience with higher wisdom - and then wailing like someone pushed you in when you hit the bottom.
You knew there was a hole there, David! And we all saw you throw yourself in! Climb out and clean yourself up - we’ve got work to do.
Look - I get it. These are difficult times. And you might need to peel the layers back on this onion a little bit at a time - on the stuff you really don’t want to be real. Or potentially true.
In fact, there may be some folks in your life who’s sanity depends on the bandaid not being ripped off with hair on it. ‘Cause some of this stuff can cause severe melt downs. Intrapsychic splitting. Fragmentation. Entering a realm of the mind without a life preserver.
But this energy in it’s highest form - if we want to work with it, and not just get worked over by it - is asking us TO NOT support our propensity for being delusional right now. It entails some degree of acceptance of suffering, in order to understand with greater Truth.
Living in a dream world ain’t going to cut it.
But you can definitely visit there, to envision the world you’d like to see. Highly recommend that right now. That and being open to extracting messages from the fog. Cuz dang, does it have some messages for you to ponder right now.
We are being asked to be open to possibilities and experiences that support our evolution as human beings.
These possibilities and experiences have nothing to do with what we’ve been taught. They aren’t part of the stories we’ve been told throughout our lives - maybe even the scripts we starred in prior to this one.
They come from a realm that has nothing to do with human preference and everything to do with sensing the divine Truth.
As Jupiter comes to meet Neptune in April, their union is asking us to claim what is ours, and let go of what is not.
Two actions, each of us need to take. Claim & Let go.
But of what?
Let’s walk through the fog together and find out.
